We spent a good couple of weeks in Austria this year. It was my first time in Tirol and Innsbruck appeared to be a lovely place for family summer holidays. While my husband was improving his German skills at University, me and kids were exploring the city. One of the most interesting discoveries was Kiachl, typical Austrian sourdough deep fried pastry. Yummy! The lovely lady you see in the photos and her husband (who was away that day) started kiachl as a hobby, which eventually evolved and now they travel around festivals in Austria, Germany, also Switzerland. I invited them to stop in Lugano. I hope they will - the sweet chilli Kaechl was super delicious!
